Kotagiri Taluka, with population of about 1.1 lakh is The Nilgiris district's the 3rd least populous sub district, located in The Nilgiris district of the state Tamil Nadu in India. There are 14 villages in the sub district, among them Nedugula is the most populous village with population of about 13 thousand and Kokkode is the least populous village with population of 147. Hallimoyar is the biggest village in the sub district with an area of 82 km2 and Kokkode is the smallest with 1 km2.
