There are 18 villages in the sub district, among them Bheemaganipalle is the most populous village with population of 6081 and Etavakili is the least populous village with population of 1682. Chandramakula Palle is the biggest village in the sub district with an area of 35 km2 and Etavakili is the smallest with 7 km2.

There is only one city in the sub district that comes under the sub district administration which is Punganur Municipality.
