Dhone Mandal, with population of about 1.2 lakh is Kurnool district's the 6th most populous sub district, located in Kurnool district of the state Andhra Pradesh in India. There are 16 villages in the sub district, among them Dhone (R) @ Dronachalam is the most populous village with population of about 11 thousand and Shotrium Gundala is the least populous village with population of 716. Ungaranigundla is the biggest village in the sub district with an area of 49 km2 and Shotrium Valasala is the smallest with 4 km2.

There is only one city in the sub district that comes under the sub district administration which is Dhone Nagar Panchayat.
