There are 14 villages in the sub district, among them Vemsoor is the most populous village with population of about 13 thousand and Yerragunta is the least populous village with population of 605. Vemsoor is the biggest village in the sub district with an area of 37 km2 and Kallurugudem is the smallest with 6 km2.
