Nagar Tahsil, with population of about 6.8 lakh is Ahmadnagar district's the most populous sub district, located in Ahmadnagar district of the state Maharashtra in India. There are 106 villages in the sub district, among them Jeur is the most populous village with population of 9363 and Jamb is the least populous village with population of 461. Karjunekhare is the biggest village in the sub district with an area of 60 km2 and Kolpe Akhada is the smallest with 2 km2.
