Sausar Tahsil, with population of about 1.8 lakh is Chhindwara district's the 7th least populous sub district, located in Chhindwara district of the state Madhya Pradesh in India. There are 130 villages in the sub district, among them Ramakona is the most populous village with population of 6144 and Mathni is the least populous village with population of 1. Ramudhana F.V. is the biggest village in the sub district with an area of 16 km2 and Kondhar Dawami is the smallest with 1 km2.

There are 5 cities in the sub district which comes under the sub district administration, those are - Sausar Municipality; Lodhikheda, Mohgaon and Piplanarayanwar Nagar Panchayats and Borgaon Census Town.
