Kannod Tahsil, with population of about 1.1 lakh is Dewas district's the 2nd least populous sub district, located in Dewas district of the state Madhya Pradesh in India. There are 64 villages in the sub district, among them Panigaon is the most populous village with population of 6441 and Shivjipura is the least populous village with population of 1. Bawdikheda is the biggest village in the sub district with an area of 37 km2 and Shivjipura is the smallest with 2 km2.

There is only one city in the sub district that comes under the sub district administration which is Kannod Nagar Panchayat.
