There are 30 villages in the sub district, among them Beleipada is the most populous village with population of 2744 and Tilapur is the least populous village with population of 120. Deojhar is the biggest village in the sub district with an area of 9 km2 and Nayakrushanapur is the smallest with 1 km2.

There is only one city in the sub district that comes under the sub district administration which is Joda Municipality.
