Canning - I Community Development Block, with population of about 3 lakh is South Twenty Four Parganas district's the 5th most populous sub district, located in South Twenty Four Parganas district of the state West Bengal in India. There are 53 villages in the sub district, among them Budh Khali is the most populous village with population of 8908 and Mandar Baria is the least populous village with population of 139. Budh Khali is the biggest village in the sub district with an area of 10 km2 and Marapia is the smallest with 1 km2.
