Antah Tahsil, with population of about 1.2 lakh is Baran district's the 2nd least populous sub district, located in Baran district of the state Rajasthan in India. There are 79 villages in the sub district, among them Bargaon is the most populous village with population of 6243 and Mohammadpur is the least populous village with population of 100. Sorsan is the biggest village in the sub district with an area of 30 km2 and Aasannakti is the smallest with 1 km2.

There is only one city in the sub district that comes under the sub district administration which is Antah Municipality.

Demographics

The sub district is home to about 1.2 lakh people, among them about 62 thousand (52%) are male and about 58 thousand (48%) are female. 70% of the whole population are from general caste, 21% are from schedule caste and 9% are schedule tribes.
