Asind Tahsil, with population of about 2.5 lakh is Bhilwara district's the 2nd most populous sub district, located in Bhilwara district of the state Rajasthan in India. There are 209 villages in the sub district, among them Badnor is the most populous village with population of 9217 and Baghmal is the least populous village with population of 29. Badnor is the biggest village in the sub district with an area of 39 km2 and Kemariya is the smallest with 0 km2.

There is only one city in the sub district that comes under the sub district administration which is Asind Municipality.

Demographics

The sub district is home to about 2.5 lakh people, among them about 1.3 lakh (50%) are male and about 1.3 lakh (50%) are female. 76% of the whole population are from general caste, 16% are from schedule caste and 8% are schedule tribes.
