Ramanagara District, with population of about 10.8 lakh is Karnataka's the 5th least populous district, located in the state Karnataka in India. Total geographical area of Ramanagara district is 3516 km2 and it is the 3rd smallest district by area in the state. Population density of the district is 308 persons per km2. There are 4 sub districts in the district, among them Kanakapura is the most populous sub district with population of about 3.5 lakh and Magadi is the least populous sub district with population of about 2 lakh.
