Kishtwar District, with population of about 2.3 lakh is Jammu & Kashmir's the 3rd least populous district, located in the state Jammu & Kashmir in India. Total geographical area of Kishtwar district is 1644 km2 and it is the 9th smallest district by area in the state. Population density of the district is 140 persons per km2.
