Seoni District, with population of about 13.8 lakh is Madhya Pradesh's the 26th least populous district, located in the state Madhya Pradesh in India. Total geographical area of Seoni district is 8758 km2 and it is the 6th biggest district by area in the state. Population density of the district is 157 persons per km2. There are 8 sub districts in the district, among them Seoni is the most populous sub district with population of about 3.5 lakh and Dhanora is the least populous sub district with population of about 85 thousand.
There is only one city in the district that comes under the district administration which is Seoni Municipality.
