Total geographical area of Etah district is 2431 km2 and it is the 21st smallest district by area in the state. Population density of the district is 730 persons per km2. There are 3 sub districts in the district, among them Etah is the most populous sub district with population of about 9.4 lakh and Jalesar is the least populous sub district with population of about 3.5 lakh.
