Total geographical area of Gautam Buddha Nagar district is 1282 km2 and it is the 3rd smallest district by area in the state. Population density of the district is 1286 persons per km2. There are 3 sub districts in the district, among them Dadri is the most populous sub district with population of about 11.1 lakh and Jewar is the least populous sub district with population of about 2.2 lakh.
