Joda Municipality, with population of about 47 thousand is Joda sub district's only municipality located in Joda sub district of Kendujhar district in the state Odisha in India. Total geographical area of Joda municipality is 7020 km2. Population density of the city is 7 persons per km2. There are 14 wards in the city, among them Joda (m) Ward No 04 is the most populous ward with population of 5127 and Joda (m) Ward No 12 is the least populous ward with population of 2300.
Nearest railway station is Barbil which is 15 km far from here. Barbil is the sub district head quarter and the distance from the city is 15 km.
