Kandi Municipality, with population of about 56 thousand is Murshidabad district's the 4th least populous municipality located in Murshidabad district of the state West Bengal in India. Total geographical area of Kandi municipality is 13 km2 and it is the 3rd biggest city by area in the district. Population density of the city is 4289 persons per km2.
