Gulbarga Taluka, with population of about 8.3 lakh is Gulbarga district's the most populous sub district, located in Gulbarga district of the state Karnataka in India. There are 135 villages in the sub district, among them Kamalapur is the most populous village with population of about 11 thousand and Madarsanhalli is the least populous village with population of 87. Srinivas Saradgi is the biggest village in the sub district with an area of 58 km2 and Halsultanpur is the smallest with 2 km2.
