Mysore Taluka, with population of about 12.8 lakh is Mysore district's the most populous sub district, located in Mysore district of the state Karnataka in India. There are 123 villages in the sub district, among them Harohalli is the most populous village with population of 9660 and Halalu is the least populous village with population of 12. Harohalli is the biggest village in the sub district with an area of 25 km2 and Siddalingapura is the smallest with 1 km2.

There are 10 cities in the sub district which comes under the sub district administration, those are - Mysore Municipal Corporation and Out Growth; Mysore Municipal Corporation; Hinkal, Hutagalli, Srirampura, Elwala and Bhogadi Census Towns (limited to 5 most populous).
