Guntakal Mandal, with population of about 1.7 lakh is Anantapur district's the 4th most populous sub district, located in Anantapur district of the state Andhra Pradesh in India. There are 18 villages in the sub district, among them Nagasamudram is the most populous village with population of 7891 and Sangala is the least populous village with population of 386. Nagasamudram is the biggest village in the sub district with an area of 65 km2 and Ameenpalle is the smallest with 4 km2.

There is only one city in the sub district that comes under the sub district administration which is Guntakal Municipality.
