Solapur North Tahsil, with population of about 10.6 lakh is Solapur district's the most populous sub district, located in Solapur district of the state Maharashtra in India. There are 40 villages in the sub district, among them Nannaj is the most populous village with population of 7587 and Samshapur is the least populous village with population of 351. Darfal (Bibi) is the biggest village in the sub district with an area of 34 km2 and Samshapur is the smallest with 2 km2.

There is only one city in the sub district that comes under the sub district administration which is Solapur Municipal Corporation.
