Indapur Tahsil, with population of about 3.8 lakh is Pune district's the 8th least populous sub district, located in Pune district of the state Maharashtra in India. There are 142 villages in the sub district, among them Kalamb is the most populous village with population of about 16 thousand and Taratgaon is the least populous village with population of 288. Bawada is the biggest village in the sub district with an area of 81 km2 and Gholapwadi is the smallest with 1 km2.

There is only one city in the sub district that comes under the sub district administration which is Indapur Municipal Council.
