Baramati Tahsil, with population of about 4.3 lakh is Pune district's the 4th most populous sub district, located in Pune district of the state Maharashtra in India. There are 116 villages in the sub district, among them Baramati Rural is the most populous village with population of about 19 thousand and Nepat Valan is the least populous village with population of 303. Shirsuphal is the biggest village in the sub district with an area of 34 km2 and Sirshane is the smallest with 2 km2.
