Nashik Tahsil, with population of about 17.6 lakh is Nashik district's the most populous sub district, located in Nashik district of the state Maharashtra in India. There are 73 villages in the sub district, among them Palashe is the most populous village with population of about 12 thousand and Bhagur Rural is the least populous village with population of 276. Bhagur Rural is the biggest village in the sub district with an area of 26 km2 and Yashawantnagar is the smallest with 1 km2.

There are 7 cities in the sub district which comes under the sub district administration, those are - Nashik Municipal Corporation; Deolali Cantonment Board; Bhagur Municipal Council; Eklahare, Vilholi, Sansari and Samangaon Census Towns.
