Katol Tahsil, with population of about 1.6 lakh is Nagpur district's the 6th most populous sub district, located in Nagpur district of the state Maharashtra in India. There are 163 villages in the sub district, among them Kondhali is the most populous village with population of about 12 thousand and Khanwadi is the least populous village with population of 4. Yenvihira is the biggest village in the sub district with an area of 14 km2 and Khanwadi is the smallest with 1 km2.

There is only one city in the sub district that comes under the sub district administration which is Katol Municipal Council.
