Vadodara Taluka, with population of about 20.1 lakh is Vadodara district's the most populous sub district, located in Vadodara district of the state Gujarat in India. There are 82 villages in the sub district, among them Anagadh is the most populous village with population of about 15 thousand and Rasulpur is the least populous village with population of 68. Varnama is the biggest village in the sub district with an area of 18 km2 and Jobantekri is the smallest with 1 km2.

There are 13 cities in the sub district which comes under the sub district administration, those are - Vadodara Municipal Corporation and Out Growth; Vadodara Municipal Corporation; Undera, Ranoli, Bajwa, Nandesari and Karachiya Census Towns (limited to 5 most populous) Nandesari, GSFC Complex, Petro-Chemical Complex and Por-Ramangamdi Industrial Notified Areas.

The sub district is home to about 20.1 lakh people, among them about 10.5 lakh (52%) are male and about 9.6 lakh (48%) are female. 88% of the whole population are from general caste, 7% are from schedule caste and 5% are schedule tribes. Child (aged under 6 years) population of Vadodara taluka is 10%, among them 54% are boys and 46% are girls. There are about 4.5 lakh households in the sub district and an average 4 persons live in every family.
