Canning - II Community Development Block, with population of about 2.5 lakh is South Twenty Four Parganas district's the 10th most populous sub district, located in South Twenty Four Parganas district of the state West Bengal in India. There are 61 villages in the sub district, among them Kalikatala is the most populous village with population of about 18 thousand and Chunpuri is the least populous village with population of 225. Kalikatala is the biggest village in the sub district with an area of 14 km2 and Kuler Khoj is the smallest with 1 km2.
