Sandeshkhali - I Community Development Block, with population of about 1.6 lakh is North Twenty Four Parganas district's the 2nd least populous sub district, located in North Twenty Four Parganas district of the state West Bengal in India. There are 30 villages in the sub district, among them Dashin Akhratala is the most populous village with population of about 11 thousand and Putimari is the least populous village with population of 1622. Bayar Mari Abad is the biggest village in the sub district with an area of 16 km2 and Dheknamari is the smallest with 2 km2.
