Galsi - I Community Development Block, with population of about 1.9 lakh is Barddhaman district's the 11th most populous sub district, located in Barddhaman district of the state West Bengal in India. There are 85 villages in the sub district, among them Mankar is the most populous village with population of about 10 thousand and Jot Kolkol is the least populous village with population of 29.
