Varanasi Tahsil Urban Part, with population of about 15.9 lakh is Varanasi district's the most urban populous sub district, located in Varanasi district of the state Uttar Pradesh in India.

There are 38 cities in the sub district which comes under the sub district administration, those are - Varanasi Municipal Corporation; Ramnagar Nagar Palika Parishad; Lohta, Phulwaria, Shivdaspur, Suzabad and Kotwa Census Towns (limited to 5 most populous); Maruadih Railway Settlement Industrial Township; Varanasi Cantonment Board; and Gangapur Nagar Panchayat.
