Maharashtra State Rural Part, with population of about 6 crore is India's the 4th most rural populous state. Hindus contribute 88% of the total population and are the largest religious community in the state followed by Muslims which contribute 6% of the total population and Buddhists are the third largest religious community here with 6% population..
