Chhattisgarh State Urban Part, with population of about 59.4 lakh is India's the 13th least urban populous state. Total geographical area of Chhattisgarh state urban part is 3382 km2 and it is the 11th biggest urban state by area in the country. Population density of the state is 1756 persons per km2. There are 18 districts in the state, among them Raipur Urban is the most populous district with urban population of about 14.8 lakh and Narayanpur Urban is the least populous district with urban population of about 22 thousand. Durg Urban is the biggest district in the state with an urban area of 552 km2 and Narayanpur Urban is the smallest with 20 km2.
