Jalor District, with population of about 18.3 lakh is Rajasthan's the 17th least populous district, located in the state Rajasthan in India. Total geographical area of Jalor district is about 11 thousand km2 and it is the 11th biggest district by area in the state. Population density of the district is 172 persons per km2. There are 7 sub districts in the district, among them Sanchore is the most populous sub district with population of about 4.9 lakh and Bagora is the least populous sub district with population of about 1.5 lakh.

The district is home to about 18.3 lakh people, among them about 9.4 lakh (51%) are male and about 8.9 lakh (49%) are female. 71% of the whole population are from general caste, 20% are from schedule caste and 10% are schedule tribes.
