Dausa District, with population of about 16.3 lakh is Rajasthan's the 14th least populous district, located in the state Rajasthan in India. Total geographical area of Dausa district is 3432 km2 and it is the 2nd smallest district by area in the state. Population density of the district is 476 persons per km2. There are 5 sub districts in the district, among them Dausa is the most populous sub district with population of about 4.2 lakh and Sikrai is the least populous sub district with population of about 2.6 lakh.

The district is home to about 16.3 lakh people, among them about 8.6 lakh (52%) are male and about 7.8 lakh (48%) are female. 52% of the whole population are from general caste, 22% are from schedule caste and 27% are schedule tribes.
