Kheda District, with population of about 23 lakh is Gujarat's the 10th most populous district, located in the state Gujarat in India. Total geographical area of Kheda district is 3953 km2 and it is the 10th smallest district by area in the state. Population density of the district is 582 persons per km2. There are 10 sub districts in the district, among them Nadiad is the most populous sub district with population of about 5.5 lakh and Virpur is the least populous sub district with population of about 1 lakh.

There are 13 cities in the district which comes under the district administration, those are - Nadiad and Dakor Municipality and Out Growths Nadiad, Kapadvanj, Chaklasi, Balasinor and Mehmedabad Municipalities (limited to 5 most populous).
