Cuddalore District, with population of about 26.1 lakh is Tamil Nadu's the 11th most populous district, located in the state Tamil Nadu in India. Total geographical area of Cuddalore district is 3703 km2 and it is the 13th smallest district by area in the state. Population density of the district is 704 persons per km2. There are 7 sub districts in the district, among them Chidambaram is the most populous sub district with population of about 4.7 lakh and Tittakudi is the least populous sub district with population of about 2.6 lakh.
