Lakshadweep District, with population of about 64 thousand is Lakshadweep's only district, located in the state Lakshadweep in India. Total geographical area of Lakshadweep district is 30 km2. Population density of the district is 2149 persons per km2. There are 10 sub districts in the district, among them Kavaratti is the most populous sub district with population of about 11 thousand and Bitra is the least populous sub district with population of 271.
