Belgaum District, with population of about 47.8 lakh is Karnataka's the 2nd most populous district, located in the state Karnataka in India. Total geographical area of Belgaum district is about 13 thousand km2 and it is the biggest district by area in the state. Population density of the district is 356 persons per km2.
