Vizianagaram District, with population of about 23.4 lakh is Andhra Pradesh's the least populous district, located in the state Andhra Pradesh in India. Total geographical area of Vizianagaram district is 6539 km2 and it is the 2nd smallest district by area in the state. Population density of the district is 359 persons per km2. There are 34 sub districts in the district, among them Vizianagaram is the most populous sub district with population of about 2.8 lakh and Garugubilli is the least populous sub district with population of about 47 thousand.
