Amreli District, with population of about 15.1 lakh is Gujarat's the 8th least populous district, located in the state Gujarat in India. Total geographical area of Amreli district is 7397 km2 and it is the 10th biggest district by area in the state. Population density of the district is 205 persons per km2. There are 11 sub districts in the district, among them Amreli is the most populous sub district with population of about 2.4 lakh and Lilia is the least populous sub district with population of about 60 thousand.

There are 10 cities in the district which comes under the district administration, those are - Amreli Municipality and Out Growth; Amreli, Savarkundla, Rajula, Bagasara and Jafrabad Municipalities (limited to 5 most populous).
