Jhabua District, with population of about 10.3 lakh is Madhya Pradesh's the 12th least populous district, located in the state Madhya Pradesh in India. Total geographical area of Jhabua district is 3600 km2 and it is the 6th smallest district by area in the state. Population density of the district is 285 persons per km2. There are 5 sub districts in the district, among them Jhabua is the most populous sub district with population of about 3.2 lakh and Ranapur is the least populous sub district with population of about 1.1 lakh.

There is only one city in the district that comes under the district administration which is Jhabua Municipality.
