Korba District, with population of about 12.1 lakh is Chhattisgarh's the 10th least populous district, located in the state Chhattisgarh in India. Total geographical area of Korba district is 6598 km2 and it is the 7th smallest district by area in the state. Population density of the district is 183 persons per km2. There are 5 sub districts in the district, among them Korba is the most populous sub district with population of about 3.7 lakh and Kartala is the least populous sub district with population of about 1.5 lakh.
