Khordha District, with population of about 22.5 lakh is Odisha's the 5th most populous district, located in the state Odisha in India. Total geographical area of Khordha district is 2813 km2 and it is the 6th smallest district by area in the state. Population density of the district is 800 persons per km2. There are 21 sub districts in the district, among them Bhubaneswar (M.Corp.) is the most populous sub district with population of about 8.9 lakh and LINGARAJ is the least populous sub district with population of 189.
