Anugul District, with population of about 12.7 lakh is Odisha's the 15th least populous district, located in the state Odisha in India. Total geographical area of Anugul district is 6375 km2 and it is the 11th biggest district by area in the state. Population density of the district is 200 persons per km2. There are 23 sub districts in the district, among them Anugul is the most populous sub district with population of about 1.6 lakh and Bhusan Steel Limited is the least populous sub district with population of 1098.
