Kendujhar District, with population of about 18 lakh is Odisha's the 8th most populous district, located in the state Odisha in India. Total geographical area of Kendujhar district is 8303 km2 and it is the 4th biggest district by area in the state. Population density of the district is 217 persons per km2. There are 24 sub districts in the district, among them Kendujhar Sadar is the most populous sub district with population of about 1.6 lakh and Rugudi is the least populous sub district with population of about 17 thousand.
