Shupiyan District, with population of about 2.7 lakh is Jammu & Kashmir's the 4th least populous district, located in the state Jammu & Kashmir in India. Total geographical area of Shupiyan district is 312 km2 and it is the 2nd smallest district by area in the state. Population density of the district is 853 persons per km2. There is only one sub district in this district which is Shopian and the population of Shopian is about 2.7 lakh.
