Pulwama District, with population of about 5.6 lakh is Jammu & Kashmir's the 9th most populous district, located in the state Jammu & Kashmir in India. Total geographical area of Pulwama district is 1086 km2 and it is the 6th smallest district by area in the state. Population density of the district is 516 persons per km2.
