Kishanganj District, with population of about 16.9 lakh is Bihar's the 9th least populous district, located in the state Bihar in India. Total geographical area of Kishanganj district is 1884 km2 and it is the 11th smallest district by area in the state. Population density of the district is 897 persons per km2.
