Supaul District, with population of about 22.3 lakh is Bihar's the 16th least populous district, located in the state Bihar in India. Total geographical area of Supaul district is 2425 km2 and it is the 20th smallest district by area in the state. Population density of the district is 919 persons per km2. There are 11 sub districts in the district, among them Supaul is the most populous sub district with population of about 3.6 lakh and Nirmali is the least populous sub district with population of about 98 thousand.
